Golden Springs Cougar Newsletter
Volume 3, Issue 1 December 2013
The core value for December is Giving. During the month of December, encourage your children to participate in the following suggestions: Invite a friend or neighbor for coffee or hot cocoa, reconnect with old acquaintances, call a relative, take over a plate of cookies to a neighbor, decide to forgive and move forward, offer to rake leaves or bring in mail, help bring in trashcans for an older neighbor, or curl up on the sofa with hot milk and read a story with the family. Take the time to give and have fun this season!
In the spirit of giving, we are collecting canned food for the Salvation Army and toys for the Santa Cop Toy Drive. Thanks to the many families willing to participate. We will be collecting canned food until Mon., Dec. 9th.
School will be closed for two weeks from December 23-January 6. Students will return on Tuesday, January 7, 2014. No school on Monday, Jan. 6th.Enjoy a season of good health, love and
